Here's how you can watch the federal election debates in Canada this week

<img class="webfeedsFeaturedVisual" src="https://display.blogto.com/articles/20250416-federal-election-canada.jpeg?w=1200&amp;cmd=resize_then_crop&amp;height=630&amp;quality=70" width="100%" /><p>The big debate between the federal party leaders is set to take place this week.</p><p>Liberal Leader Mark Carney, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, and&nbsp;Bloc Quebecois Leader Yves-Francois Blanchet will take part in two debates.</p><p>A French-language debate will be held on Wednesday, April 16 at 6 p.m. ET and be moderated by Radio-Canada's Patrice Roy. One day later, on April 17 at 7 p.m. ET, an English debate will take place with TVO's Steve Paikin serving as moderator. Both will be broadcast live from Montreal's Maison de Radio-Canada atrium. Both will run for two hours without commercials.</p><p>If you're interested in tuning in, the process is pretty simple, with many broadcasters set to air the events.
