The 30-year-old, who has appeared in 12 games with the Blue Jays this season, was placed on the paternity list yesterday.

This is the Lukes' second child. They had a baby girl, Remi Lynn, in November 2021.

The other Blue Jay who will soon welcome a new child is Daulton Varsho. He and his wife, Brook, are expecting their first any day now.

Varsho, whom the Blue Jays acquired ahead of the 2023 season, has yet to play in 2025 due to a shoulder injury. He was recently cleared to begin his rehab assignment, but has taken a break to be with his wife at this time.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Blue Jays have continued to carry on and were able to pick up a 3-1 win over the Atlanta Braves this afternoon. They currently sit second in the AL East with a 10-8 record and will begin a three-game home series versus the Seattle Mariners on Friday evening.
