The Boldt Castle was built at the start of the 20th century by George C. Boldt, proprietor of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. He built the structure as a tribute to his wife, Louise. Men, what have you done for your woman today?</p><p>Singer Castle was built by Frederick Bourne of the Singer Sewing Machine Company on Dark Island in 1905. Originally known as 'The Towers,' the four-storey, 28-room mansion has a network of "secret passageways hidden in its walls."</p><p>Each cruise has a cash bar and snacks available on board, with the <a href="https://www.cityexperiences.com/gananoque/city-cruises/cruises-schedules/sightseeing-cruises/1-hour-1000-islands-cruise-from-ivy-lea/">one-hour rides starting at $33</a>.&nbsp;</p><p>Cruises can be booked starting April 25, 2025.
