(Noon is the online timing for GameStop; stores will also accept pre-orders a little earlier once they open, although that will still be later than Walmart.)</p><p>Walmart had&nbsp;<a href="https://mobilesyrup.com/2025/04/04/switch-2-pre-orders-hit-walmart-before-other-canadian-stores/">previously confirmed the midnight timing</a>&nbsp;when pre-orders were originally set for &mdash;&nbsp;<a href="https://mobilesyrup.com/2025/04/08/nintendo-switch-2-pre-orders-canada-delay/">but later delayed from</a>&nbsp;&mdash; April 9, but now we know that applies to the new April 24 date.</p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p dir="ltr" lang="en">Mark your calendar and set your alarm...<br /><br />Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders arrive online only at Walmart Canada on April 24, 2025 at 12am EST.<br /><br />Due to demand, there will be a limit of 1 console per household. Naturally, Walmart is also only allowing one pre-order per household.</p><p>On Good Friday, Nintendo confirmed that Switch 2 pre-orders&nbsp;<a href="https://www.blogto.com/tech/2025/04/canadians-wait-longer-nintendo-switch-2/">will open in Canada on April 24</a>&nbsp;following the initial delay.&nbsp;</p><p>At the same time, the company <a href="https://www.blogto.com/tech/2025/04/nintendo-switch-2-price-canada/">finally announced&nbsp;official Canadian pricing</a> for Switch 2 games and accessories, including a whopping $110 price tag for&nbsp;<em><a href="https://mobilesyrup.com/2025/04/17/nintendo-switch-2-mario-kart-world-gameplay/">Mario Kart World</a>.&nbsp;</em>Nintendo also noted that the price of the Switch 2 itself &mdash; $629 &mdash; isn't going up.</p>
