Liberal voters in one of Toronto's most hotly-contested battleground ridings were mistakenly directed to the wrong station in what could prove a costly election day fumble.
A voter in midtown Toronto's Eglinton—Lawrence riding reported that homes on their block were issued flyers on behalf of Liberal candidate Vince Gasparro in the morning hours after the polls opened.
While this suggests the issue is highly localized, staffers have been scrambling to ensure everyone is clear about where to vote.
Vince Gasparro is all too familiar with the razor-thin margins dividing Liberal and Conservative voters in this part of town.
Gasparro is running against Conservative candidate and former Toronto City councillor Karen Stintz to replace incumbent Liberal MP Marco Mendicino.
