Health Canada has issued a recall of a popular beauty cream sold across Canada due to potential contamination. The cream can ordinarily be found on shelves at stores like Shoppers Drug Mart and Sephora, and on Amazon Canada. "The recalled product does not meet microbial standards over time," reads the statement. To determine if you have the recalled product, check the UPC and lot number printed on the bottom of the jar and the outer cardboard packaging. "Please note that, in addition to the requirements of the Cosmetic Regulations, the Food and Drugs Act (FDA) prohibits the sale of cosmetics that are either made with hazardous substances or under unsanitary conditions, to users in Canada," states Health Canada.
