Did you know the world's largest tulip festival happens right here in Ontario?
Yep, the Canadian Tulip Festival is back for another year, a.k.a.
According to the Canadian Tulip Festival, the event was established to "celebrate the historic Royal gift of tulips from the Dutch to Canadians immediately following the Second World War as a symbol of international friendship."
The fest is held at Ottawa’s Commissioners Park and features over 300,000 tulips along the Rideau Canal’s Dow’s Lake.
Visit the Canadian Tulip Festival this month at Commissioners Park, Ottawa, located at Preston Street and Queen Elizabeth Drive.
