The Toronto address of 1395 Gerrard St. E, right at the corner of Woodfield Rd., is home to a building that has had many lives and been a handsome landmark in the community.
Back as far as the 1920s, the ground floor was home to The Avalon Market.
However, one element that has remained consistent throughout 1395 Gerrard St. East's long life are the 20 apartments above the ground floor commercial space.
The listing says that's between $1,700-$2,300 per month, but with rent prices taking a nosedive lately, that might be a tad optimistic since the vacant units could really use an update.
But if you did update them, you could definitely squeeze some more rental income out of the units.
