The Toronto Maple Leafs appear to have a new enemy: a Floridian public library system. For those who aren't from or have a deep connection to Toronto, the Leafs are often a punching bag for people from just about wherever else, especially come playoff time. It appears the beef — albeit a friendly one — began when the Toronto Public Library staff hopped onto X with a poem and a series of books suggesting that the Leafs would down the Panthers to take a 2-0 series lead against the defending Stanley Cup champions. "Panthers are red/ The Leafs are blue/ Tonight is the night That we win Game 2," the TorontoPanthers are red,The Leafs are blue,Tonight is the nightThat we win Game 2.
