Giant tulip giveaway in Toronto will have 40,000 free blooms

Toronto Tulip Day is rolling around the corner, and this year, there are literally thousands of free tulips up for grabs. Head down to Nathan Phillips Square on Saturday, May 10 to pick up some beautiful spring bouquets of tulips. Hosted by the Netherlands consulate, Toronto Tulip Day honours the liberation of the Netherlands by Canadian troops during the Second World War. The country is known for its breathtaking tulip blooms, which draw thousands of tourists throughout the spring season. No registration or entry fee is required to attend the tulip giveaway, but make sure to arrive early to score your bouquet of beautiful Dutch tulips!
