The travel slump between Canada and the U.S. continues amid the trade war. New data from Statistics Canada found a decline in travel between the countries, both by land and air. In April, the number of U.S. residents visiting Canada by air dropped by 5.5 per cent from the same time last year. In March, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) found that Canadians visiting the south plummeted by nearly 900,000. Many Canadians have chosen to boycott American-made products and cancel travel plans to the U.S. in protest of President Donald Trump’s tariffs.
