As part of an ambitious urban renewal project to revitalize its downtown streets, the City of Brampton has announced plans to demolish a section of Main Street North next month as a major step towards a full-scale transformation of its historic core. Starting the first week of June, the City will commence with the demolition of City-owned buildings at 30 to 60 Main Street North in an effort to reshape downtown Brampton into a more accessible and community-focused area. 🎉Starting in June, demolition of City-owned properties at 30 to 60 Main Street North will help make way for a more vibrant, accessible and welcoming downtown. During the same period, detailed design and approvals for the expansion of the Garden Square will take place. "This is a major step forward in our bold vision to reimagine downtown Brampton," said Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown.
