Another weekend in Toronto means another few days of concerts, markets, art exhibitions and other events — along with a multi-station TTC closure to complicate them all. Following a long line of frustrating full weekend closures across various parts of the city's subway network over the last while comes yet another taking place over May 24—25. The reason, as in past cases, is cited vaguely as ongoing "track work." All others along the stretch will be open for purchasing fares and connecting to streetcars and buses. This round of work will wrap up in time for normal subway service to start at 6 a.m. on Monday, May 26.
