The announcement comes amid a chilly spell of weather in Toronto and much of Southern Ontario. The weather agency says the region hasn't experienced temperatures staying in the single digits during the second-last week of May since 1967. Unfortunately, the chilly weather is expected to last through the weekend, pushing the start of summerlike weather further and further into the distance.
