If you're seeking a tropical getaway this upcoming winter, you'll be pleased to hear that a new flight route will soon connect Toronto with a South American country known for its lush rainforests and high biodiversity.
Montreal-headquartered airline Air Transat will be launching a new non-stop flight service between Toronto Pearson Airport and Guyana's capital, Georgetown.
Nicknamed the "Garden City of the Caribbean," Georgetown is the retail and administrative centre of the country.
The airline will be operating the new route with the A321LR, with ergonomic cabins and an in-flight entertainment system.
The airline also recently announced a twice-weekly service between Toronto and Medellín, Colombia, with a stopover in Cartagena.
