So, what does this mean for Sunwing Vacation customers? The travel company announced that, effective Thursday, May 28, all vacation package customers will travel on board WestJet-operated flights. WestJet acquired Sunwing in May 2023 after the deal between the carriers was approved by the Canadian government earlier that year in March.
