For context, CATL has already helped Chinese automakers release 10 different “Choco Swap” compatible vehicles. Looking at the bigger picture, the Chinese battery giant is targeting a rollout of 1,000 swap points across China in the same timeframe—end of 2025. As of right now, Chinese automakers GAC, Chery, NIO, FAW, and BAIC, are also looking to adapt to the new standard.
