It was the first team Pep Guardiola's side have failed to win a major trophy since 2017, and Reijnders has said the pressure is on to fix it, starting with the FIFA Club World Cup. "City is one of the biggest clubs in the world and if you play for a club like this then you have to win prizes," Reijnders said. After arriving at City from Milan in the specially created Club World Cup transfer window, Reijnders could make his debut against Wydad AC in Philadelphia on Wednesday.
