“Colombia has declared child marriage unconstitutional. Colombia’s Constitutional Court today [2/6/25] took a step further in banning child marriage, by declaring Articles 117 and 124 of the Civil Code unconstitutional. These articles had allowed children over the age of 14 to marry with the consent of their legal representatives. From now on, all marriages must involve individuals who are at least 18 years old.”From Colombia One.
