Matt Turner then started the final pre-tournament friendly against Switzerland, and we all expected him to keep starting from there once the Gold Cup began. Coming into this summer, it seemed like center back was the one position where the USMNT had most, and possibly all, of its potential World Cup starters on the Gold Cup roster. The "Futbol Americas" crew discuss the USMNT's 2-1 win over Haiti that granted it a place in the Gold Cup knockout stages.
