EufyMake's E1 UV printer is the most funded project in the history of the crowdfunding site.
Then, on Saturday, Seattle-based EufyMake ended its campaign as the most-funded project ever — $46,762,258 from 17,822 backers, breaking the Kickstarter record.
(The previous record of $41.7 million was set by fantasy author Brandon Sanderson's Kickstarter campaign in March 2022 for four new novels.)
EufyMake's E1 UV printer, or ultraviolet curing inkjet printers, uses UV light to dry inks instantly as they are printed on a variety of materials like wood, metal, and glass.
The model allows users to print on cups, tumblers, and ceramic mugs as well as print 3D textures up to 5 millimeters in height on solid surfaces.
