Open Extended ReactionsBobby Portis intends to sign a three-year, $44 million contract to return to the Milwaukee Bucks, with a player option for 2027-28, sources told ESPN on Sunday.
Portis is declining his $13.4 million player option before landing his new deal, which was negotiated between the Bucks and representative Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports.
Portis, 30, has been a staple on Milwaukee's bench for five seasons, finishing in the top three in Sixth Man of the Year voting in 2023 and 2024.
Portis was limited to a career-low 49 games and averaged 13.9 points and 8.4 rebounds in 25.4 minutes per game.
Portis is one of the few remaining members of the Bucks' championship team from 2021.
