Toronto's Little India is gearing up for its most anticipated celebration of the summer, a two-day festival that brings the sights, sounds, and flavours of South Asia right to the heart of the city.
The 23rd annual TD Festival of South Asia officially returns on July 19 and 20, transforming Gerrard Street East between Coxwell Avenue and Glenside Avenue into a lively, open-air festival packed with music, art, culture, and, of course, lots and lots of food.
Each day, the Gerrard India Bazaar will be buzzing as thousands gather to experience everything from live performances and interactive workshops to cultural showcases and street eats.
The best news is that the festival is completely free, and whether you're coming for the food, the music, the shopping, or all of the above, this is an incredible opportunity to explore the rich cultures and traditions of the South Asian diaspora in Toronto.
Make sure to mark your calendar and bring your appetite, the 23rd annual TD Festival of South Asia takes place for two days only on July 19 and 20, from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.
