The new flagship attraction at Canada's Wonderland appears to be on the cusp of opening, and despite delays and a missed spring debut, excitement for the record-breaking launch coaster is still flying high.
On July 1, Wonderland shared a new update on the status of its hotly anticipated AlpenFury launch coaster, which will soon become longest, tallest and fastest launch coaster in the country, boasting more inversions than any other roller coaster in North America.
The park posted a video update highlighting the first test runs for AlpenFury, giving future riders a taste of the adrenaline-spiked experience awaiting parkgoers.
Kozlowska explains that "testing and commissioning have officially begun, and there's a lot that goes into bringing this coaster to life.
The new launch coaster is being joined by immersive theming surrounding the attraction, forming a permanent winter village area known as Alpenfest.
