If you haven't started tuning in to the Toronto Blue Jays much yet this season, now might just be the time. In case you missed it, the Blue Jays just wrapped up one of their most iconic regular-season series in recent memory, sweeping the rival New York Yankees in a four-game set at the Rogers Centre. According to Sportsnet Stats, it's actually the first time in the nearly 48-year history of the Jays franchise that they've swept the Yankees in a four-game set. Toronto's 49 wins through 87 games is their most since 1993, a year they famously won the World Series on Joe Carter's game-winning walk-off home run in the most iconic moment in franchise history.
