TTC closures this weekend will involve two separate stretches of Line 1 Yonge-University shutting down for maintenance. The weekend of July 12-13 will bring many events and festivals to the city, though your access to these summer festivities could be hindered by the latest in a series of 38 planned weekend subway closures for 2025. The transit agency announced that it will shutter service on Line 1 between Eglinton and Finch stations on Saturday, July 12. Commuters are being advised of alternative routes to access stations along the closure, including Finch, Sheppard-Yonge and Eglinton. The TTC also plans to suspend subway service on Line 1 between St. Clair West and St. Andrew stations on Sunday, July 13, blaming this coming outage on "track work."
