The list includes specific rankings by country, with a roundup dedicated to hotels and resorts around Canada. Three Toronto hotels were bestowed top spots in this year's ranking, earning them national and international recognition. Two hotels in Toronto that made it to the top 5 for Canadian hotels were The St. Regis and Four Seasons Hotel, ranking in fourth and fifth spots, respectively. In eighth place is the Ritz-Carlton Toronto, the only other hotel in the city to make the list.
