The staff at one Toronto restaurant were shocked this week when they got a surprise visit from Oscar-nominated actor Jesse Eisenberg. At least, that appears to be the case for him when he's in Toronto, as the actor recently made a surprise visit to West Queen West's Curryish Tavern, leaving the restaurant's owner and staff starstruck. Miheer tells us that, prior to Eisenberg's appearance at the restaurant, he got a call from the concierge at the actor's hotel, who told Miheer that the group was in the mood for an Indian feast and made a reservation. "I was a bit nervous when they made the reservation," Miheer says, "but when they came to the restaurant, they were super low-key people and were extremely friendly with our staff." It seems as though the meal was a hit, too, because Miheer tells us that, as the party got up to leave, "they said they will be back the next time they'll be in the city."
