Police were called to the hotel in St Julian's, a town on the east of the island, in the early hours of Friday. A medical team attended the scene at Triq Spinola but the man died at the scene. Member of the Senedd Sian Gwenllian, who represents Arfon, said in a statement that the man's death was "truly devastating".
