The zero-turn lawn mower is one of the best lawn care upgrades you can make. I recently spent about three weeks with John Deere’s Z370R Electric ZTrak zero-turn, putting it through its paces on my flat, half-acre property. There are definitely justified apprehensions about switch to an electric mower, especially with a rider: Will it run long enough to finish my lawn? Like most traditional zero-turn mowers, the Z370R is controlled by two lap bars—one for each wheel. Most of the drawbacks I found while using this mower are not exclusive to this particular model but are a limitation of any zero-turn mower.
