A fast food meal should be quick and satisfying — but for one Toronto patron, a McDonald's meal covered in fuzzy spots of mould was anything but that. However, the fuzzy surprise was more than enough to deter the patron, who tells blogTO they brought the matter to the attention of restaurant staff. The restaurant gave her a refund and said they would conduct an investigation regarding the mouldy burger. In a statement from John Pang, independent franchisee of the McDonald's location, food safety and the well-being of customers are top priorities. The patron tells blogTO that no one has contacted her yet regarding the mouldy burger and is awaiting action from the restaurant.
