High-volume attractions such as AlpenFury typically offer a second queue for single riders, who, if willing to risk being seated with strangers, can shave hours off their wait times. One person exiting AlpenFury said they only had to wait around 20 minutes using the single-rider line, compared to another rider's three-hour wait time using the standard queue. However, even with the long lineups, it is evident that people are willing to wait even longer than the ride queue — several parkgoers told us that they had travelled from across Ontario, with one even saying they had travelled from Winnipeg just to ride AlpenFury. In addition to the single-rider line, you can also try visiting during off-peak (but still pretty busy) hours on weekdays, especially right at park opening. AlpenFury is Wonderland's 18th roller coaster and the latest attraction built into the park's centrepiece, Wonder Mountain.
