Mike Greenberg can't believe Justin Fields picked up an injury during the Jets' training camp.
(1:53)Open Extended ReactionsFLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Justin Fields was carted off the practice field Thursday morning with a dislocated right toe, although the New York Jets said the quarterback avoided suffering a serious injury.
The Jets said Fields would not miss significant time and is considered day-to-day.
The downside to Fields' injury is that he will miss training camp reps, invaluable for him because he hasn't played a lot of football over the past year.
The injury happened on Day 2 of training camp, at 9:25 a.m. Fields pulled up after rolling right and throwing an incomplete short pass to tight end Jeremy Ruckert.
