A new condo tower rising above King Street West is primed to be one of Toronto's next Instagrammable landmarks.
The first of two towers in the massive Forma development, a joint venture between Great Gulf, Dream Unlimited and Westdale Properties, is now making its impact felt at 266 King Street West.
Work on Forma officially kicked off back in summer 2023 with a ceremonial ground breaking ahead of shoring and excavation for the complex's first phase, 73-storey east tower.
On the heels of excavation and subsequent construction of the tower's underground levels, Forma began its ascent above King Street West in late 2024, and has since made substantial progress.
Forma's east tower has since ascended nine levels above King Street West, and the speed of forming is only accelerating as crews get into the swing of forming repeating floorplates for the main tower section.
