
Browns' Emerson out for year with torn Achilles

(2:04)BEREA, Ohio -- Cleveland Browns cornerback Martin Emerson Jr. tore an Achilles tendon and will be out for the 2025 season, coach Kevin Stefanski announced Wednesday.
Emerson left Tuesday's practice on a cart after suffering the noncontact left leg injury while covering wide receiver Diontae Johnson on a go route.
Emerson attempted to plant his leg at the end of the play but fell to the ground in pain.
