Nintendo is raising the price of the original Switch “family of systems and products,” the company announced on Friday. Along with the first-generation Nintendo Switch, the price change also affects the Switch OLED, Switch Lite, and “select” accessories. The site also listed the Switch OLED getting $50 more expensive at $399.99, while the Switch Lite was priced at $229.99, a $30 increase. A previously announced price hike for the Switch 1 systems in Canada just took effect today, bumping the original Switch and Switch Lite prices by $20 CAD, to $419.99 and $279.99, respectively. The prices of Switch 2 consoles, as well as Switch and Switch 2 games (both physical and digital), aren’t changing.
