The Green Jar Shop, founded by sisters Tannis and Mara, has announced that the Toronto sustainability refillery will be closing the doors of its brick-and-mortar location as of August 31.
What started as a dream to reduce single-use plastics and household waste turned into a quaint little shop on St. Clair West that opened during the pandemic.
Over the last 5.5 years, The Green Jar Shop has served locals soaps, deodorants, natural sunscreens, dog treats, and so much more.
And although their journey on St. Clair Avenue West comes to a close, they will continue their services online.
As locals say goodbye to this eco-conscious storefront, the shop's mission will continue through its online presence, one refill at a timeThe Green Jar Shop is located at 1061 St. Clair Avenue West.
