Copilot was a really, really big influence, and it was the first product that we used that had AI really at its core that we found useful.
GitHub Copilot was the first product where AI was really, really useful at its core and that wasn’t vaporware.
There were some places where the product was wrong in really obvious ways, and you couldn’t completely trust its code output, but it was nonetheless really, really exciting.
That’s a really, really important input to making AI more useful for people.
There is a really, really big difference between the top 5 percent and a median user.
