The price of groceries in Canada remains a source of concern for many households, as the cost of daily essentials continues to strain budgets. Grocery giant Loblaw recently published its July food inflation report, which states that food prices in June rose by 2.8 per cent compared to last year. Using Statistics Canada's Average Retail Food Prices Data Visualization Tool, we examined how the price of groceries has changed over six months. While most products increased in price, surprisingly, prices dropped slightly for some others.
