Cleaning Your Tent Doesn’t Have to Be a Chore. Here’s How I Do It (With Tools You Likely Already Have)

I should say that you don’t have to deep clean your tent after every time you use it.
I give my tent a good cleaning after an extended backpacking trip or thru-hike, or at the end of the season before I put it in storage.
I use this for my Gore-Tex apparel and other waterproof clothes, and always dilute it a little more when I soak my tent.
You only need to fully clean it once each season or after a very long backpacking trip or thru-hike.
Do NOT put your tent in the washing machine: I’m sure I don’t have to say this, but just in case.
