The jersey is perhaps most famously (or infamously) remembered as being the one worn by Eric Cantona when he leapt over the hoardings to kung fu kick a Crystal Palace fan at Selhurst Park in 1995, earning him a nine-month ban. Three decades on, the design has been revived with the new interpretation looking more contemporary, though arguably less characterful. Manchester United's new third kit for the 2025-26 harks back to the days of Eric Cantona 30 years ago.
