Baked good lovers are in for a sweet treat this weekend as the Caledon Butter Tart Festival returns this month to the eponymous scenic Ontario town.
This annual event is packed with all sorts of delicious desserts from local vendors, with a spotlight on the fan favourite: butter tarts.
The vendor list is quite robust this year, including beloved local spots like Wiishkobi Homebaked Goods, Gluten Free Girl, Delicious All Day Coffee — perfect to pair with your tarts — and many more.
Butter tart festivals always seem to create a huge buzz in Ontario, with numerous celebrations of the dessert happening through spring and summer, bringing home and professional bakers, tart-lovers, and anyone with a sweet tooth together for a scrumptious and fun-filled time.
This particular one will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 16 at the Albion Bolton Community Centre, located at 150 Queen St. S. in Bolton.
