Paws in the Park, presented by Toronto Humane Society (THS), is back with its annual event this weekend, providing a free party for pets, their hoomans, and animal lovers citywide. The entire family — especially the furriest members — are welcome to take part, with tons of activities on tap. The associated Pledge for Paws campaign, which attendees are encouraged take part in, raises money for the organization's support programs that operate year-round. Adoption conversations will take place at the event on a first-come, first-served basis, so interested adopters should plan to arrive early. Paws in the Park presented by Amazon is taking place at the Toronto Humane Society at 11 River Street, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on August 16.
