Build This Sturdy Steel Wiener Dog Boot Scraper

The humble boot scraper was once a fixture outside building entryways.
To cut the pieces for the boot scraper from thick plate steel, we used a 50-amp plasma cutter that Grizzly sent us for this project.
Then clamp each part in a vise or to a metal work surface and use an angle grinder to clean up the edges.
Step 5: PaintGive the boot scraper a good wipe-down with denatured alcohol to clean off any oil or contaminants that may prevent paint from sticking well.
