Jessica Simpson has released a reflective new single, “Hopeless Romance.” The emotional, country-tinged ballad was written by Simpson with Chris Isaak, JD McPherson, and Teresa LaBarbera, and produced by McPherson.
“I’ve always been in love with love/ I thought that you were too,” Simpson croons on the track.
Both songs will appear on Simpson’s new EP, Nashville Canyon: Part 2, out Sept. 5.
I deserve to love the way I love, and I love so deeply and so fully and in a committed way.
She is also set to perform at the Grand Ole Opry on Sept. 9, 2025, shortly after releasing her second Nashville Canyon EP.
