On August 23, the neighbourhood will host an event that's all about the various ways to celebrate, trade, and repair old goods. Drop by to trade, recycle, or just enjoy the good vibes, all knowing this block party is kind to both people and the planet. The Sustainable Junction Block Party will take place at the George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Centre, located at 50 Sousa Mendes Street, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
