Between Friday, Aug. 22 and Sunday, Aug. 21, several road restrictions and traffic management measures will be coming into effect for events, filming and critical construction. The Toronto Korean Festival is also taking place this weekend at Mel Lastman Square, featuring energetic dance and singing competitions and more. Aside from all the lively festivals and concerts, North America's third-largest pop culture event, FAN EXPO Canada, will be taking over Toronto from Thursday, Aug. 21 to Sunday, Aug. 24. So, until 11 p.m. on Sunday, there will be several road restrictions in place for the event at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Despite all the road closures, the City notes that festivals and events generate significant economic and cultural benefits for Toronto.
