A Toronto pizza restaurant that's held court on one of the city's most popular streets for almost a decade has inexplicably closed its doors.
The debate surrounding where, exactly, serves the best pizza in Toronto is about as contentious as that of who makes the best Jamaican patties or whether the Leafs will ever win the Stanley Cup, but a few standouts seem to score a place on almost everyone's list.
There's Badiali, of course, as well as Mac's Pizza, Maker, Blondies, and North of Brooklyn, all names that regularly populate the "best pizza in Toronto" lexicon.
For Superpoint's part, though, little has been offered by way of explanation for the reasons behind the closure and what's coming next.
We have reached out to Superpoint for further details on the reasoning behind the closure and what's coming next, but haven't received a response at the time of publication.
