Hours before releasing her latest album, Sabrina Carpenter gave listeners a fair warning: “The album is not for any pearl clutchers.” Today, the pop star officially released her highly anticipated, not-for-prudes seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend.
The album features writing and production credits for Carpenter, Amy Allen, Jack Antonoff, and John Ryan across all of the tracks.
Carpenter caused a hubbub after she shared the album art of her kneeling next to a figure in a suit who’s grabbing her hair.
Ahead of the album’s release, Carpenter posed for the cover of Rolling Stone and spoke at length about her journey to the new record.
It felt true to me, and it felt authentic to a lot of other people.
