The most common "nuisance" wasps in Ontario are yellow jackets, paper wasps, mud daubers, and bald-faced hornets, according to Environmental Pest Control, and these pesky creatures typically reach their maximum size in September.
I think we need to designate 2 seasons in Toronto: Winter and Wasp seasons.
How can we enjoy our parks when wasps are everywhere threatening to sting us and potentially make us have an allergic reaction?
If you happen to get swarmed by wasps, make sure to stay calm and move extra slowly to avoid being stung.
However, if you're serious about limiting your interactions with them, make sure to enjoy your sugary foods and drinks indoors for now.
